Ammunition Counters

The Ammunition Counters as installed in the Bf109G6. On the left is the safety ("Ein" = On (i.e. armed), "Aus" = Off). There are two SZ500 ("Schusszähler"=shot counters) for the cowl-mounted MG131 guns and an SZ100 for the centrally mounted cannon. The breech lamps above the counters lit up when the guns were fired, letting the pilot know when a gun jammed.
