These photos were taken at the Queensland Air Museum.

This Meteor Mk.8 is a UK built airframe with the original serial WA880. It was acquired by the museum via the Singapore Technical College.

The aircraft was repainted in 1996 at Amberly to represent RAAF Meteor A77-721. This was to commemorate the first RAAF loss during the Korean War.
