Description

Here are some of the digital images I took of the RAAF P-51 Mustang (cockpit section only) at Classic Jets Fighter Museum, Parafield Airport, Parafield Gardens (about 18 kms north of the Adelaide CBD). These photos were taken when I visited the Museum in late December 2001.

The photos speak for themselves. The unusual "Bronze Green" colour is authentic & was applied to CAC built RAAF P-51 Mustangs (as discussed by Gary Byk in Red Roo Models excellent "Modellers Guide to the RAAF P-51 Mustang" publication).
