At the start of 2008 I decided on a career change, and began an Aeroskills course as a lead in to work in the Aviation industry, as airplanes have been an ongoing interest since I was a child.

The college I decided to enroll in had a Merlin sitting in the corner of the engine workshop, and they allowed me to restore the thing in my spare time.

If you have ever wondered what the inside of a Merlin 68 looks like, here are some detail photos that will make even the most anally retentive super detailer sick!
