The Royal Australian Navy held an Open Day at Woolloomooloo on a spectacular Sydney Spring day.

Four ships were open for inspection including HMAS Parramatta, an ANZAC Class Frigate, equipped on the day with an Aerospatiale AS350B Squirrel.

This Squirrel entered RAAF service in June 1984 before being transferred to 723 Squadron, Royal Australian Navy.

I was especially impressed with the cowl art, looking very much like "Barney Gumble" from The Simpsons contemplating an appropriate beverage!
