HyperScale received a total of 290 valid responses to the Military Vehicles section of the "WishList 2002" survey. This is the first Military Vehicle survey conducted by HyperScale

Each respondent was permitted one vote in each category. Not all respondents answered all the questions. This reflected the specific interests of the respondents. The number of responses to each category are listed in the results below.

Models with similar tooling were allocated to an aircraft “family” for the purpose of the survey. For example, responses nominating Tamiya’s Panther G early version, late version or steel wheel version models were aggregated as "Tamiya Panther". 

There was a wide variety of spelling and description of vehicle types. Regardless of spelling or terminology, all responses were allocated to the most likely vehicle type or family. For example, M4, M-4, Sherman were all allocated to “M4 Sherman”.

Similarly, the spelling and description of manufacturers names varied widely. For example, responses labelled “Dragon”, “DML”, “Shanghai Dragon”  and “Dragon/DML” were all aggregated under the single category of “DML”.

A total of 72 votes were received in this category. The Top Five Most Wanted 1/72 Scale Kits as requested by HyperScale's respondents are as follows:

A total of 253 votes were received in this category. The Top Seven Most Wanted 1/35 Scale Kits (kits that received five or more votes each) as requested by HyperScale's respondents are as follows:

A total of 80 votes for 47 different subjects were received in this category. The Top Seven Most Wanted 1/16 Scale Kits (kits that received five or more votes each) as requested by HyperScale's respondents are as follows:
